Language is a nice friend

Language is the best friend of ourselves.I will tell some of the points which should be followed to learn a language.This is not only for ENGLISH.U can follow it to all the languages.

DO'S AND DONT'S

A. DONT'S

1.AVOID LOOKING LANGUAGE AS A STRANGE ONE

First of all,try to avoid looking at a language as the strange thing.Dont think that we dont know that language.Try to think in a way that,in few days that language is going to be ours after learning.

2.DONOT GET SCAREDBY ACCENT

I have seen many people dropping their efforts to learn a language by looking at the accent.There is nothing to bother about accent.THE LANGUAGE IS THE WAY OF COMMUNICATION.You are going to use the language to communicate.So it is enough,if you know how to use that.

Being good in accent is great.But it is better not to care than to get scared.

3.DONOT CARE THE COMMENTS PASSED ON YOU

90% of the persons are not able to communicate because of their importance given to the comments.We should not stop speaking in english for the reason of the comments passed on us.Let our friends comment that we are always speaking in english like american.But we should care about that.When we face inetrview,they are not going to help us in any way,if we are rejected due to the lack of communiaction skills.

4.DONOT GIVE UP LEARNING LANGUAGE DUE TO INITIAL MISTAKES

When we learn a language,surely we are liable to make mistakes.None in this world can learn without making even a single mistake.While you start to speak,even the whole conversation by you may be wrong.But dont feel for that and give up.Try to take care that next day atleast one word you uttered is correct.

B. DO'S

1.SPEAK TO YOURSELF IN ENGLISH

Try to speak in english to yourself.Daily night while you go to bed,start to speak to you about everything happened from morning.You try to express each in english.At that time,surely you will get doubt about the usage or you may not know the word in english.Nextday,you ask the someone about the correct usage and note it down.

2.MAKE YOUR DIARY AS A SMALL DICTIONARY

While you speak in english to yourself every night,you many get many doubts.So you refer the dictionary for the meanings and know the apt word.You write those words in diary.You keep the diary with you always.While you going by bus or train or....,you look in to the diary and try to recollect all.Become the author of the small dictionary.

3.REFER ENGLISH-ENGLISH DICTIONARY

This is the important thing while refering dictionary.Avoid looking at english-native language dictionary.Then while someone ask you the meaning,you will get only in native language.You will not get immediately the correct english word.So try to make you to answer the meaning in correct english word.

4.TRY TO GIVE THE CORRECT MEANING

You have to know the correct meaning of the word and you should be able to answer the question correctly.And very important thing is that it is not enough if you know only the usage.You must be able to give the correct meaning also.I am also one of the person who makes this mistake.I know the meaning of most words.But sometimes,i know to place the word in the correct position.But i dont know to give the meaning.So try to avoid that habit.If u know the word,you should give the meaning also.
